Petite Biscornu

What’s better than a biscornu? A petite biscornu!

a circle of finished biscornus in different patterns

These cute, colourful biscornu – quirky eight-sided pillows – can be used in so many ways. I gifted them as ornaments this Christmas, but they are also the perfect size for a scissor fob, key fob, thing-a-mabob fob, or a simple pin cushion. Or  stack a handful of biscornu in a pretty dish for an eye-catching centerpiece.

These biscornu are stitched on sparkly, 18 count Aida. I love the silver thread in this fabric; it added a festive flair to these petite ornaments. I used variegated threads, and I also tried out some DMC etoile floss for some of the biscornu – more sparkle! These ornaments really catch the light!

Any fabric or floss that you have in your stash will work – this is a great stash busting project.
