Freedom SAL V

We stitched nineteen lovely squares in the Freedom Stitch-along this week, after the distraction of some Christmas Bells 😉

The eyelets and fans were my favorites:

I’m counting the empty spaces that are left on my fabric (eighteen) and thinking that the next installment of the SAL could be the final one. That makes me a bit sad, but It’s only a few short weeks until the next Stitch-along starts, this one hostessed by Esther of Brodeuse Bressane, another extremely talented designer, and a very fast stitcher!

  • It’s beautiful !! You made it with silk too ? I have to persevere but I have so much work for the Christmas Markets that my left hand is soar… I’ll probably finish it in January 🙂

    • Thank you! 🙂 I was considering silk floss when I first started to think about colours, but then I saw a project stitched in orange and purple and decided on that as a start to my colour scheme. So I am stitching with Threadworx variegated flosses for this stitch-along, but for Esther’s stitch-along in January, I do have the most gorgeous variegated silk EVER, by Jo at Silks4U -https://www.etsy.com/shop/Silks4u.
