Welcome to my blackwork adventure, a sharing of beautiful embroidery designs. I love to stitch and design, and I also love to see what other designers are creating.
My mom taught me how to cross-stitch about 30 years ago; it’s always been one of my favorite pastimes. Then I discovered blackwork embroidery and fell in love with the intricate, lacy patterns that are created with such a simple stitch.
I live on a farm in northern British Columbia, and find inspiration in nature. One of my first designs was a butterfly, finished into a round box.

I am an avid artist of many a medium, and want soo much to get into Creative sewing. I have done industrial sewing as a seamstress in my time, but never embarked upon a hand-sewn project as of yet.
